REQM Silver Award

This term, in class 4, we will be delving into the deep, dark part of prehistory known as the Stone Age. What can we find out about it? What are primary and secondary sources? What is the job of an archaeologist?

How did humans develop into the clever survivors and inventors that we have become today?

When did prehistory end?

In science, we will be looking at caring for our teeth and experimenting with eggshells. Why?

We will also be learning about the human digestive system, so it could get messy!

In art and design we will be making our own Stone Age, Bronze Age and Iron Age creations, from life-like tools and weapons to calming sunset pictures of Stonehenge.

Don’t forget to bring an art shirt in!

In maths, we will be having times tables tests to help with our target of knowing all of the tables up to 12 x 12 – so please learn these.
