Uniform

Uniform is a big part of developing a sense of community and belonging in school and our children wear their uniform with pride.

Our school uniform is supplied by Stevensons on Abington Square and can be purchased online here.

Parents are welcome to choose to purchase non-branded uniform (without the school logo) from other outlets which may be more cost effective but must ensure they are in the designated school colours.  If you require second-hand uniform, please speak to the school office.

Our uniform consists of:

  • Green sweatshirt or cardigan (with or without the school logo)
  • White polo-shirt
  • Grey trousers, shorts, skirt or pinafore dresses
  • Green gingham summer dresses may be worn in the summer.
  • Plain, black sensible shoes (not trainers, canvas or sandals)
  • Grey, black or white socks or grey or black tights
  • Coat in a practical style for school.
  • Green book bag (with or without the school logo)
  • Wellies (only required in Year R)

Please note that Year 6 are permitted to bring a small backpack to school which may be stored in the cloakroom. All other year groups require a bookbag which will fit into their drawer in the classroom

Our PE kit consists of:

  • Plain white T-shirt (with or without the school logo) 
  • Green or black shorts
  • Green or black jogging bottoms and green or black hoodie/sweatshirt
  • Suitable trainers (Velcro fasteners are preferred in Years R,1 and 2)
  • Spare pair of socks
  • Green drawstring bag (with or without the school logo) clearly labelled on the outside

All items of clothing must be clearly labelled.

Jewellery and Presentation

  • Children are only permitted to wear single stud earings that they must be able to remove by themselves for PE.  Please ensure that piercings are only done at the start of the summer holidays so that the children can remove them when we are at school.  We cannot put tape on childrens ears.
  • Necklaces and bracelets (with the exception of a medical bracelet) should not be worn for health and safety reasons.
  • Children may wear a watch but smart watches are not allowed.
  • All hair longer than shoulder length must be tied up for school and hair accessories should be small, sensible and plain.
  • Make up and nail varnish is not permitted.

Water Bottles

Children will be provided with a water bottle when starting school. Replacement lids and bottles are available for purchase from the school office. If you wish to provide your child with a different water bottle, it should be leak and spill proof and not exceed 500ml.
