History

At Hackleton CEVA Primary School, our history curriculum is designed to provide all pupils with a comprehensive understanding of Britain's past and that of the wider world. Aligned with our school's overarching ethos of "learning for life...life in all its fullness," our history curriculum aims to instill in our pupils an appreciation for the people and events that have shaped our local, national, and international history. Through exploring historical events and societies, children gain insights into the complexity of people's lives and the relationships between different groups. This knowledge is crucial in helping them understand their own identity within a social, political, cultural, and economic context.
