At Hackleton CEVA Primary School, we are committed to supporting and educating each child to the highest standards.  The teaching and learning, achievements, attitudes and well-being of every pupil matters, regardless of any Special Educational Need or Disability (SEND).  Our approach, interactions and teaching of the all children will be informed by their individual needs.  The majority of children with SEND are provided for within the class setting by slight adjustments to work, resources or teaching methods. Early intervention, high quality teaching as well as high expectations are a key to success. We recognise that sometimes children need different strategies and provision to provide them with the equal opportunities that other children have and we strive to remove barriers to learning to ensure they reach their potential. We work closely with families and outside agencies to ensure the best approaches and support for pupils with SEND.  Our approach is compliant with our duties set out in the Equality Act 2010 and the Special Needs and Disability Regulations of 2014.
