At Hackleton Primary School, we believe every child can be a leader. Throughout their time with us, pupils are given a wide range of opportunities to take on responsibility and contribute positively to our school community.
From an early age, children begin to develop leadership skills within their classrooms—taking on roles such as helping with routines, supporting their peers, and caring for shared spaces. As they move through the school, many also represent their classmates as members of the School Council, sharing ideas, voicing opinions, and helping to shape decisions that improve school life for everyone.
In Year 6, leadership opportunities are extended so that every child is given a specific responsibility. These important roles include House Captains and Vice Captains, Worship Leaders, Sports Leaders, Librarians, IT Monitors, and other roles tailored to ensure all pupils can contribute in a meaningful way.
Through these experiences, our pupils develop essential life skills such as confidence, teamwork, communication, organisation, and a strong sense of responsibility. We are proud to see our children grow into positive role models who demonstrate respect, initiative, and a commitment to making a difference within our school community.
